You've got a wee eye with a red sign on front of it on the bottom status bar. This is an option you have enabled/disabled. I'd start looking in Tools > manage add-ons... within IE and see what is disabled and enabled. There's no need to go uninstalling Shite. I think your IE is not accepting cookies. It could be used to remember settings you have selected for that website and various other things. If you don't like the website keeping track of your activities, you can always block cookies for a particular website in your browser options.
