mykez69
i been thinking about painting the bonnet, it was good at first, i might paint it green, then sand off a little bit where the chequers are, so they come through only a little bit and faded

madxrcabby
take the top mounts etc off , and they'll be on the center spline bit of the shock , just cut um in half , i done it with mine and it just makes it smoother basically it'll just give the spring more movement ...... also another thing if your cutting springs , make sure you cut the bit where theyre bound together - usually at the bottom , because otherwise you'll just be left with loads of bound coils and thats not fun to drive atall
mykez69
ohh i know what you mean now, thats ok for the front, but on the rear the spring is separate from the shock. the rear is where i was having problems lol
madxrcabby
pass on where the bumpstops are on them , but id suggest finding a way for your spring to be bolted or strapped on with the back , pigtail springs where the spring is seperate to the shock are quite easy to dislocate lol
