mykez69 Posted January 11, 2010 Author Share Posted January 11, 2010 surely there is a whole inside to rat? its taken from the shanks. old busted rides. old trucks, vans, naturally weathered vehicles, us in the uk just force the look ourselves with our own creativity. its about being original more than anything, its like a freedom of speech but on your car. apart from that there is no real meaning to it, its just because we can. it started off with just a rusty bonnet, lowered, roof rack, then as a trend evolves its gets bigger, and people take it further, at the moment i see more to rat than modifying a car normally, but thats just a phase with me more than likely, i will be bored of it soon and be moving on to the next craze.
