Squav
I was probably doing more like 60-65. Which on a national speed limit road is understandable when overtaking. Not really safe in the conditions though. Yeah, I agree with you. At the end of the day, it was my fault because I lost control of the car, I'm just glad no-one else was involved and the 3 of us in the car only have bruised and pulled muscles. I'm very upset about losing my car as it was only insured TPFT, and there's no way I can afford another one now.

escort4x4
You are very lucky mate, me personally i think you panicked at the on coming car, swerved in a bit to fast, tapping the breaking causing a spin loss of control and bang thro the bushes. From personally experience recovering alsorts of RTA incidents and people going off the road you can get a general idea of what happened. And i think that someones comment earlier is near spot on. You over took the lorry panicked at the oncoming car, swerved in a bit to fast touched the brake abit and bang loss of control and through the bush. I would understand that sort of damage on a RWD car as that would cause the back end to go out as the rear wheels would of spun but not so much on a FWD car. As i said mate your very lucky, Were the police called out. Could of been a darn site worse

Squav
Just wondering how I swap my plate now, as the tax runs out on 31/12/09, and I've just sent back the tax disc I just bought for a refund and SORN'd this. Now how long have I got to change it, or as long as I keep the car can I still transfer it at anytime?
