Bit of an update, not a great deal done but thought I'd show some before and after pics of how she looks with a 60mm drop.

It has got a bit lower since these pics as we had litterally just dropped it off the jack so nothing had settled.

Also removed mudflaps and put clear side repeaters on over the last week and generally tidy'd her up a bit.

Getting a stainless cat back system and new wheels before xmas so will keep this updated.

Cheers for looking and feel free to leave comments

Picked up some new wheels last night, not told the missus how much they were else she would kill me but I'm one happy bunny.

Going to need two front tyres shortly but will do for a few thousand miles plus it has raised up a bit and I was wishing it would be just a bit lower but will wait and see.

Hope you like:)

That looks really really nice now mate, you've picked some really nice bits for it so far. What's the next plans?

You might have to look into having your rear arches rolled too, my missus' cabby is lowered 60mm on those wheels and it does scrub on the back over some bumps, so keep an eye on it :)

That was my worry about the scrubbing but I'v been lucky so far although I haven't had any backseat passengers so only time will tell. Cheers for the heads up thou.

It will stay looking like this now with only interior and engine mods next on my list maybe 2.0 mondey lump with carbs or TB's after my funds have recovered.

I like the simple look and it will keep it 'sleeper' style to most people.

Went out and took a few pictures today as I had half hour to kill before picking my lil one up.

Last week the car was in the bodyshop having bumpstrips removed and the rot taken out of the rear quater plus a few scratch's sorted out. Since then I'v had a non vented goona splitter added to the front aswell as new plates and a cat back stainless which looks and sounds the part.

I'm toying with the idea of having a matt black roof but not sure yet. anyone got any good pictures of any fords with it? as it seems to be a VW thing.

Been a while since my last post and as the car has been stood for a few months I didn't have much to update. There isn't a great deal done to her either but after a good clean up ready for MoT time I thought i'd share..

She is sitting back on the 15's as I didnt want to attract any theiving b*stards to her while she was stood plus after an argument with a pothole one alloy has a bloody great big ding which needs to be sorted. Apart from that and black angel eyes I havent anything else done.

I'm in need of a new tailgate as the dreaded rot has kicked in big time around the wiper and where the spoiler meets. Thinking of going for a poverty spec tailgate (despoilered) and flushing off wiper hole while I'm at it but will have to wait till after MoT.

Pic of rust..

Comments welcome and thoughts on smooth looking tailgate?
