I once bought a halfords professional trolley jack, The seals on the ram started to leak and it would not lift the car, I only used the jack a handful of timesI took it back, They made a REALLY big deal over replacing it, I mentioned that they are warranted for life, They demanded a receipt.. I did not have one I still had all the boxes ECT.. refused and refused and refused, made out I was lying, eventully they took all of about 30 seconds to look through all the jacks they had sold on april of that year..
