Life time guarantee the metal bends or breaks not on any moving part

but none of the staff know that :D

mainly cos i know how poor quality they are the ratchet spanners - the ratchet mechanism wears quite easily.

that said I just use my dads tools - even cheaper then :D

some are older than me

old tools are built to last!!

I once bought a halfords professional trolley jack, The seals on the ram started to leak and it would not lift the car, I only used the jack a handful of times

I took it back, They made a REALLY big deal over replacing it, I mentioned that they are warranted for life, They demanded a receipt.. I did not have one :(

I still had all the boxes ECT.. refused and refused and refused, made out I was lying, eventully they took all of about 30 seconds to look through all the jacks they had sold on april of that year.. Found mine and replaced with haste, Bunch of ballbags!

I used to work at halfords, and all the staff at the branch i worked at knew that about the moving parts.

The ratchet spanners arnt "poor quality" either, they may not be up to snap-on quality but for the price they are very good
