muz
Got a bit of it built up tonight. It's amazing how all the little details make the car look complete, like the bonnet washer jets, side repeaters etc. Still needs lots of tweeking, like front bumper adjusting properly, needs the indicator/fog sections cut out so the indicators fit in the bumper, rear bumper needs new holes drilled in the arch to pick the corners up etc, but it's getting there. I went to the bodyshop this morning and flatted off the doors, tailgate, mirrors, whaletail and front grill ready for paint tomorrow. Should have them back by the weekend. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201029.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201030.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201032.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201033.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201040.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201039.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201036.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/SV201041.jpg
lee grout
Looking really good there. Will the bumper line up nicely with a bit of tweaking!? Sounds like a silly question but in ff mags, most cosworths (genuine one's) bumpers dont line up with the bottom edge of the arch and actually look a really bad fit! lol
muz
Yeah, it should do. It has a bolt either side going through the wing lip and through the top edge of the bumper so should hold it all in nice.

muz
Another quick update. I got the tailgate and front grill back form the paintshop. The doors and whaletail wouldn't fit in the van so won't get those till about Thursday now. Anyway, got the tailgate to got the badges and spoiler all fitted up. Small turbo badging of course as the car is a P plater and they are more subtle. Lots of pictures. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1950.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1951.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1952.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1958.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1954.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1953.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1956.jpg and front grill with a new new Ford bage and its mesh back in http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1949.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/murray_eversham/FakeCos/IMG_1948.jpg Tomorrows job will be the loom connections to accept all the MK5 lights and dash etc and setting all the bumpers and panels up properly as they are just thrown on at the moment. Ahmotorsport
Looks mega! You didn't fancy the standard Cossie position of the badge? Edited December 20, 2011 by Ahmotorsport
bad ass cossie
If iam correct i think the small turbo cosworths do have the badge on the right hand side but dont count me on that ahmotorsport lol cos i could be wrong.
muz
Looks mega! You didn't fancy the standard Cossie position of the badge? I have gone for the later spec, small turbo badge style and position as I prefer it, looks more subtle and the car is a late registered P plate so is in theme with the car. The big turbo cars had them all on the left and Ford oval on the right with a different font Escort and RS badge. The laster spec small turbo cars has them layed out this way with the MK6 style chrome badges.
