Mk6 Si Ross
I now have Morrettes!!!! You know what before looks like!!!!!During : And after Many thanks to Tiddles cos i wouldn't have had a clue!! Got there at 9.45 and we had a quick cuppa and then got to work, bumper off, not too hard when you take the upper grill out. Few screws missing out of the packet but soon found a couple to sort that out, got it all fixed in and wired and while testing them my battery started to hiss n click, then it had a bit of fluid come out the top and then it died Decided at this point to go into town for KFC and a new battery, went to local Motorworld n i've never heard n seen such arrogant twats work in one shop, i said have you got an 092 battery for my 1.8 Escort 1996 model, let me see he says, must have only worked there a week or something cos i've worked in a car shop before n you know what battery fits what after about 2 weeks anyway!!!!!! So he comes back and says no sorry it should be an 065 with round posts, i said no it shouldn't this battery has been on since new and its got square posts. So what does he say???!!! Well, Lucas can't have got it wrong can they? I said erm yes cos they have!!!!!!! Little bit more banter before i say ok we'll go somewhere that knows what the hell they talking about and we walked off, they got a good deal on JBL 12" subs though eh John???!!! Got a battery in the end from Ford with a bit of special discount thanks to Johns uncle All in all i think they look top class and again thanks to John for the hard work Johns family of Fords
