minirotty Posted August 27, 2012 Author Share Posted August 27, 2012 I have been going at this van like a bull in a china shop trying to keep my mind occupied for a complete week now since losing my rotty, Chaos. That seems to have been my problem, I made a school boy error and didn't even spot it untill today. I had fitted the rear callipers upside down to the bleed nipple was at the bottom, I know the correct way they shpuld be fitted, just with all the rushing I didn't once notice! Pretty sure Lee Grout did this and when he came to swap em back snapped a mount or something and had to get another calliper Glad its working, I had 3 master cylinders when I did mine, original gave no pedal, replacement aftermarker still no pedal then went gen Ford and finally I have a brake pedal that didnt vanish into the floor, what a ball ache. Thought it may have. Got chatting to a lad weekend who lowered a desiel van, and put Pug 106 rear struts on it to stiffen it up, says they fit on easy enough but I'm not sure mine need changing after today.
