minirotty
Went out to fault find the issue with it not turning off on the key today as was a bit bored, and got carried away and started refitting interior lol Owe yer, I found the fault, quite chuffed as every one who's looked at it has been stumped. Carpet is from RS, gutted I haven't taken a pic of how I for the back to fit in the van, as it looks mint and trimmed by a pro lol http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/d1fe7b18.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/79ec95fc.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/850151ef.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/0083f8b2.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/79d120e2.jpg Back of the van getting empty now! http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/89ee1272.jpg I also nearly blew myself up! God knows how or what, still not sure if some fcuker threw a fire cracker in the car pmsl When I was pluging in the drivers seat belt sensor wire, bang and a puff of smoke from behind the driver seat? I didn't managed to plug it in again to see if it happened again, as after I checked everything was working and it was? rubbish me up anyway and no wires behind the seat that look damaged etc just the fuel pump loom? lol More soon. HIGHTOWER
The seatbelt tensioners go with a bang like that, with smoke... Not that, was it?
minirotty
Could the sensor under the seat have gone bang then? thought it would have just been as said a senser, and nothing that could go bang?
HIGHTOWER
As far as I know, there's no sensor under the seat, only a plug... the part that's likely to go bank and smoke is the "cylinder" under the seatbelt retainer... if it's been set offm the seat belt retainer will be lower down on that side, as the explosive charge pulls it down to tension your seatbelt! Ahmotorsport
Might be worth disconnecting the battery for about half hour before plugging the new one in.
minirotty
Pissed about with the van this weekend and yesterday, fitted up the drivers door, but can not get the switch powed up yet so need to try and figure that out, I hate electrics and felt like burning the van yesterday lol Today I managed to get the rear brake lines fitted and also the rear brake cables, but I think I need a new handbrake cable from the hand brake itself, it's not long enough, are drum and disc cables different from that bit? http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/3c9018a4.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/7d7fe254.jpg also need a deisel heater switch pannel... http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/c14a9f33.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/9c3e5acd.jpg oowh and the unpainted side now she's turned around... http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/66af7e44.jpg Brakes also need to be bled again, they're being auquard too!
