Undersealing rear arches?

Going to be undersealing my rear arches tomorrow...

My plan is;

powerwash the arches,

dry,

paint on the underseal.....

Who's done this?

Any tips/advise?

underseal wont do shite to stop the inevitable rust eating your arches if thats your purpose.

aslong as the arch edge lip is still there then road muck with accumulate and the moisture will eat through depleted uranium archs.

best way to maximize your arches lifespan that Ive found so far is to use glass resin to create a sloped surface on the lip itself, that encourages the crap to run off and not build-up anymore..... saving your arches being rustmunched

Rear Inner arches I mean guys :thumb:

I know you are limited to protecting the arch itself once its started rusting/rotting.....

i did mine last week i used stone chip to do mine

i cleaned it all off and as they were dry as i just done a engine transplant i did not have to wait till they were dry

just conected the gun up the the compresser turned the pressure down and did underside and inner arches

stone chip is a better look and lasts longer than underseal i think

if your using a paint brush you wont get into all the knooks and crannies if you pour a bit into a container and heat it up a little it becomes more runny and easier to apply i always use probes with spray guns and also use plenty of light to make life easy for you and wear old clothes or overalls as its a messy job
