robbie
still prefer this over your st and i think it didnt look bad on the 4 spokes either
Stu
I think those wheels look awful on it. And the tacky wind deflectors. Other than that it looks nice, apart from the wood. Wood and silver doesn't go in one place. If this were a 4x4 version i'd be raping you for it.
Naylor2006
I like it but I can't help thinking the front end is frowning, morettes look....err odd.
Danzetec
Shouldn't this be in the for sale section?
stevmo3691
not for sale yet as I'm still using it and need to get it MOT'd later this month first. wood trim wasnt my choosing and I was in the process of ridding it - replacement steering wheel with carbon wrapped wood inserts (now in ST), modified centre section for a double din HU sprayed panther black and centre console (round hand brake) sprayed panther black too (again now in ST). just needed to do the trim round light switch

JAMGTI
This looks so much better than the ST, four spokes in your sig look better, the multispokes look too small even though they are 17s might be cos they are dark. the morettes do make it look a bit odd in the top pic. This looks in better condition than the ST too, why notkeep this and sell the ST or scrap the ST and fit the best bits and engine into this. heavyrightfoot
Even tho you get loads of stick Steve - keep this car original, as its the best one you own, and will ever own
stevmo3691
i will be selling it soon, back on standard wheels and I will offer new owner choice of standard or morette headlights but the standard ones have started to yellow so need new lenses. only after market bits that will still be on it are the exhaust, gel overlays & sony radio and maybe the cone filter but will include airbox and panel filter but airbox needs repairing or replacing
stevmo3691
I have now sold this for anyone interested. I didnt want to and I did consider if I had got the job at ford doing the transplant of the ST's good bits into this and having best of both worlds but I needed the money to pay insurance and road tax for the BMW. Only got £625 which isnt bad for a 18 yr old mondeo with no tax, no mot, work needed on the brakes and rust starting to make an appearance on arches and sills. Weirdly the way I sold it was from the ebay advert for the alloys in the pic above and I had a pic of them on the car and someone messaged me on ebay asking if I still had the car and if it was for sale. He has a Y reg mk2 zetec s and was going to put the wheels on it but decided to buy my car and put the wheels back on it and sell his mk2. Saves me finishing it off, costs and tme involved with MOT'ing and selling so I'm happy and now I can crack on with the ST
Naylor2006
Probably for the best to have 1 project car and now you only have two cars which should help you focus and clear another space on the drive.
