stoo2000
You'll just need to keep looking for the RS Bumper, look out in breakers yards, incase they have a cabby with the RS kit on it. I recently sold my bumper (Not that that helps ) Ok thanks ill keep my eye out, what would be the going rate for one? I have seen one on here in another thread for sale by Frostic Clicky For £100 - seems a little steep as i will need to pay for delivery (or fuel to pick it up) & painting as well, so would be around £150 - £200 for it and would prefer to pay a little over £100 fitted and painted (yep im tight - its the yorkshire in me ) Or would prefer to pay £100 for one that's never been on a car before. How much did you sell yours for? If you don't mind me asking Just what Custard1 said (since he bought it!) I've seen them go for more than £100 before, it just depends what the demand for them is at the time. Frostic's rear bumper is the MK5 version (it has the swage line in it)
PeeWee
Nice cabby, accessory rear bumper and skirts would look good, as would a ghia grill debadged in white or black or the accessory grill in black Yeah i think that's the way to go. I have ordered the smoked side repeaters as well guys he he Your car looks great as always The MK5 Accessory bumper is a skin that goes over the existing bumper. The MK6 one (like I had on my cabby) is a full replacement bumper. Ahh finally someone confirms it, don't delete this post PeeWee please. I already stated the accessory was a skin lol. Wish idve read this thread sooner as i have some smoked repeaters on the estate that ive got replacements for! Did you!! lol you should have put me in the spotted topic he he - if you see me again flash your lights blow your horn - get your flashing blue light out and stop me I'm the only white Cabby round here so i do stick out a bit and i do get loads of looks . The pic at the start of this thread is at the Shell garage at the top of Queens Drive in Ossett (I always use Shell) Guy behind the counter always asks about the Cabby Wish i'd have known you had the smoked repeaters as i would have had them off you By the way how did she look as you were passing (shameful cheap attempt at some recognition) You'll just need to keep looking for the RS Bumper, look out in breakers yards, incase they have a cabby with the RS kit on it. custard1
the mk6 one steve is the harder one to get hold of as they were a choice if to have them when the escort was brought off the 4cort
stEVO-Cabby
the mk6 one steve is the harder one to get hold of as they were a choice if to have them when the escort was brought off the 4cort Great stuff just my luck ! Well i think i'll have to put the dosh to one side then until a MK6 one comes along - in the meantime i need to get some 40mm lowering springs. I have seen some on Ebay (Apex) but don't know which ones to go for. Some of the adverts say "Not Cabby" Does anybody know if there is a difference between tin top and Cabby? I don't fancy buying some springs that won't fit!

cabrioletldn
Hi Nice cab. Looks very tidy. The cabriolet RS kit would suit it nicely. The full RS kit was a factory fitted optional extra, available in the following stages, on cabriolets only:stage 1: Spolierstage 2: Spolier & Wheelsstage 3: RS bumper, RS skirts, colour coded grille & all the above. Mine has the full kit factory fitted. Here's a pic to give you a good indication how it wil look on yours: http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t87/allbluecab/tango1.jpg Edited February 1, 2012 by cabrioletldn
