My new'ish Truck. It's an 08, SCREW with a 6.5 ft bed running the last of the Triton V8's, putting out over 300bhp. Despite what Ford claimed the truck does around 14 MPG

The wife gave birth to our first child last week in Fernie BC so happy times.

Thanks a bunch mate. Little girl.

Gas prices go up AND down here. We are only 60 clicks from Montana USA so often travel down. It's so cheap there it's not even funny.

When I was in the UK I would see one of these F150's in Durham allot. LPG conversion I suspect.

The MPG is around town. On the highways with the Cruise set it does around 18 - 20 MPG. Add a bolt on Saleen or Roush charger and wouldn't even do 10 MPG but would be fun (450rwhp @ 6psi boost  )

Ford have introduced a new V6 twin turbo that claims 32 MPG. No chance. It's got near 400 hp.

No sure how I missed this, congratulations on the child for a while ago.

I really like the first picture, always liked the cold canada look and would happily live there.

Love to see some pictures of the thing fitted mate.

Thanks allot fella  Shes a member of the Aryan Nation just like her daddy :innocent:

Anyhow .. Stripping the charger for "The Man" to fettle :thumb: Pulley off ..

Got a DUB pulley for it (Sitting in Montana awaiting my collection) Leaving this stock size .. Can change to a smaller pulley at will .. Pulleys are press fit on Eaton chargers

http://planetsoarer.com/boost/lightning_dub_pulleys_hub.jpg

Gonna run a 4lb lower pulley, with the port work and a decent tune it should push over 500hp

Have 90% of the parts now ...

Canada's a real nice place .. I've been here on and off for years now .. The cold is good ... Imagine -20 ... Keep the intake temps down ..

500 bhp in that truck should be good for, what, 60mph?

Only joking, looks awesome. These superchargers pretty much all off the shelf products? I know on the MG forums that a lot of the guys with the MG ZT 260 (with the mustang engines) can just drop in super chargers pretty easily and push them to over 400bhp.

Its funny you should say that as the the truck is factory limited to 99mph .. Tire ratings ..

The Eaton charger is pretty much an off the shelf fit .. This one comes with the 5.4 IC inlet thou thats specific ..

Theres no fcking about .. The truck is modern, no need for aftermarket electronics or anything like that .. Just upload a tune to run the charger and data log it for updates .. 6 month of updates to get the correct A/F and customer specific parameters .. Only runs 7 psi thats nothing really .. No need for a rolling road set up ..

The older mustang's uses a 4.6, V8 version of this engine and the new models use the 4 valve heads, I dont know about the V6 Stang as thats not worth owning .. the latest uses the 5 point ohhh that can push 700hp with the new twin screw
