Not a clue, got the first 2 tyres up ever so slight stretch but not much

Kinda like them but i need some hubcentric spacers and extended studs because these are scary.

A good 40mm drop. at least is needed too make them look right i think/

Also note they look much better now the suspension has leveled.

They look like they sit in the arches but weirdly they actually sit further out than the GTi alloys.

Also they look smaller but they are actually the same tyres...

Still some work too go yet.

Starting some experimenting, getting some Corsa B rear springs on the hope that they are shorter, as they have the ball shape and should maintain the comfort of standard springs while still getting the lows.

Also got some very big 25mm spacers and extended studs too fit, then find some way too lower the front without comprimising comfort, have a plan involving swapping top mounts with something else.

Also made a sealed intake system, very very bodgetastic involving ducktape, but the airfilter sealed into a cold air intake has made a very very very noticeable increase in the forwards making over an open too hot air cone.

Also ordered a front splitter for it, still want a quieter exhaust.

Lowering stick x10928754976458767655 woops...

So the experiment.

From left too right.

Corsa B lowering springs.

Corsa B standard springs.

Escort estate standard springs.

Basically I got impatient and went straight for the lowering springs...

Hmmm... Lows?

i rly rly dnt think using springs for another car is a.good idea

Nothing wrong with it at all.

ALOT!!! Of research went into it.

Took spring rates, load, coil diameter and wrap into account.

Checked load ratings on the springs and made sure the seatings are the same shape.

I trawled through about 70 options before i found these too be pretty much perfect.

They Are stiffer than the standard corsa but they are only a fraction stiffer than standard escort springs, still some travel left in the shocks aswell.

Trying too sort something for the front too.

Much more sensible than cutting the springs...
