Stu
hi guysdo you have any nmeetings in the essex area ? Not really, there aren't any meets at all these days. You could try and organise one though? I'm sure a few people would be interested in looking at your converted Escort. Speaking of which, do you have any plans to put an engine back in the front and run it twin-engined? Craig855S
Whilst putting an engine and box back in the front would be a doddle, i imagine connecting 2 gearboxes to one stick would be a right mare?
bongo
Whilst putting an engine and box back in the front would be a doddle, i imagine connecting 2 gearboxes to one stick would be a right mare? should nt see why not, both gearboxes are facing the same way and both on the same side. think it would be the case of a long rod/ bar joining both with the gear stick joining th bar in the same place. keithw1990
Easier said than done.nothing in life is simple lol i think if i tried it i would use second set of cables off sane stick when i did first set i left room just in case, the other problems is getting these engines to run on small amount of wiring & the exhaust which i have looked at lots of times while building this one, i will enjoy my car as mid engine this year & see what happens over the winter i just love all the new found grip at the moment

I'm in Essex so if you need a hand let me know. I've looked into a couple of twin-engined projects in the past so have done some research. The last incarnation was going to use 4F27E auto transmissions of which I was going to build a controller to actuate both transmissions at the same time.
