RobMk6
What do we all think of these cars? Asking as my old man is quite ill and after a visit to him this weekend he's decided I can have it! (providing he's of the same thinking when I turn up to collect it in three weeks) Its been round the clock once or twice, not too sure, not even seen the car in two years. He claims that early last year he spent £2k on a full strip down and resprat in the original colour, which is that horrific mustard type colour. Also any statistics and what you lot think I should do with it? Bearing in mind its totally original and unmolested. Thoughts? opinions?

Craig855S
Had a shot of a E30 325is coupe on a big open carpark once in my younger years, loved it. I'd love one as a track toy

RobMk6
Think thats what I'll do Sid, Just not keen on the colour or the seats, its got the same colour cloth seats as the exterior paint
sidrick
I know the colour you mean. I had the chance to buy one just before I bought my first red E30, but knew that I just couldn't live with the colour. It had the same colour seats as well Realistically, you're not going to spend another £2k+ on getting another respray and an interior change. I guess you could look at wrapping, oooorrrrrrr...... I do believe this is the next big thing:

sidrick
Ive known people do wheels, spoilers, and badges in plasticote, peel it off and its like new under it Aye, I've only heard good things from the folk that have tried the rattle cans. They say there's no hope of doing entire panels with anything other than the spray guns though.
Craig855S
Mate of mine has plastidipped his wheels, they look perfect. People would pay a lot for a matte wheel paint job and he done it with a rattle can and a half of plastidip

RobMk6
Boot is all good from where its been stripped and done before, however the carpets still bloody stink Driving it back and it was a warm day, turned fans on and got a shower of bloody tiny leaves!! Tell you what though, 25years old, starts first time (although the starter sticks occasionally) such a smooth car, no backlash in transmission, engine is as smooth as although is a touch tappety, steering is sooooooooooooo heavy. Can anyone reccomend a good car cover for it? Will post interior pics later
