danj8608
So bit of an update, welding is still ongoing on one side as there is a lot of fabrication to the sill needed making sure there is no rot to come back. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0509_zps0aa4b844.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0510_zps0c3bbf8c.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0511_zps76a4a5ff.jpg The cabriolet escort sills are more vertical than the normal escorts so when you fit the skirts on a non cabriolet the skirts tuck under. So my plan is to mount them as they would be on the cabriolet otherwise they just look like normal sills. I also built up my spare axle with the st170 rear brakes, you will have to excuse the colours but for mock up its fine. Poly bushes also fitted up too, some mounts are being made so a mk5 anti roll bar can be fitted this will be poly bushes too. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0514_zpsf48ef949.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0512_zps43f7888b.jpgI'm also doing a rear head rest conversion on my raven seat backs, made a start tonight bit its getting late now. More updates when it happens

danj8608
When you start a project its good to have a clear plan to stick to and so far I have with all the ford rs accessory parts. But im currently thinking too much and the plan is evolving. Removed the spoiler to check fitment of the rs spoiler (no pics) and I think the boot would look good without the wiper, Id have to fill the recess on the spoiler as well as the middle holes on the boot for the normal spoiler. Having stood back though I actually like it without a spoiler..http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0530.jpghttp://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0531.jpgThe boot lock plinth will be colour coded but what should I do ? Spoiler or no spoiler... Fitted the modded fog light blanks(puma side repeaters fitted) and got rid of the gay mesh some one fittedhttp://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/danieljackson8608/IMAG0529.jpg But again Im thinking again... with the rest of the rs kit fitted the front bumper in my eyes is lacking and i dont want to fit a splitter that doesnt flow with my ideas. Do I mod the bumper and smooth the tow eye cover, and do I get a cossie splitter and smooth that too ? anybody want to offer some Ideas..
