smudgerhtc Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Hello to all you people newbie to site :wave: Well let's start with the short story of my mk6, my girlfriend was bought this as a birthday present a few years back i think her mum was trying to kill her :lol: as it was bad. Air filter was broken brakes were near here nor there and car was pulling hard right and used to bang and knock. Not to mention it was laden with rust spots and cracks oh and a badly wielded sill. I did the best i could at the time with this escort cone filter (as they were only £10 for the kit, well it was a Peugeot one ran out of fords), also needed 2 new wishbones and bleeding of brakes. Unfortunately car was sold on soon after all work was done but you know that feeling of attachment you get after doing a bit of work on a car. Well 2 months ago i had the chance to get this mk6 back and i have it back got it back for just £80, now it's mine so let the work begin.
