nullspace
Oh! And how nobody has picked up on the AWESOME license plate on that xr3i of yours is beyond me... POB http://www.classickidstv.co.uk/wiki/images/thumb/3/3a/Pob_logo.jpg/260px-Pob_logo.jpg Looks gorgeous in that white though. Are you still working on it or is it on the sidelines while you concentrate on the mk6?
rs2k_mad
Glad to see the front of the car did what it's supposed to, and you came away unscathed. Like you said though - It's just metal. I know myself just how much a positive distraction from personal problems a project like this can be. Now you have something new to pour blood, sweat, and elbow grease over. Glad you're not giving up the chase. thats right! mate im going to be buried in a escort when i die seriously why bother with new stuff when you can smoke round in an old scort No, the XR3i is progressing, I decided to rebuild the CVH I bought in the end even though it was low mileage! I have the engine all painted, the head ported and polished and its all ready to go back into the car now. Doing little bits on it here and there to tidy it up as funds allow, but I am lucky in the sense that often I can hide away in the lock up all night working on my scorts. JC
Glad you got a new one sorted so quick - and the dash lives on I hope the police pursue the other driver for failure to stop at the scene of an accident and attempting to pervert the course of justice! rs2k_mad
the noble escort died while the fiesta lived on! although in my opinion the best. and last good fiesta. was the mk3 True say but i think that was more to do with the new type of design and new image ie the shape of the focus against the older escort. I mean nearly every smallish, medium size car has a standard hatchback design, to get what im saying look at the shape of the early vauxhall astras against the more recent ones. Seems to be what people want nowadays lol. And yes the mark 3 fiesta was the last proper one... And on the escort i have today installed my flocked centre console and dash in the si. Looks gorgeous
