danj8608 Posted October 17, 2013 Author Share Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) To make the td chatter you have to rev the engine and switch it off then it will chatter but you need a cone filter to make the noise heard. It is pretty pointless but you get a fairly nice turbo spool if ignore the diesel clatter haha. Axle was done my me and my mate with gaz custom shocks and an extra leaf spring, front is lowered 40mm shocks and shortened dampers although the diesel is heavier so its more like 60mm now.. no bodges on here mate. Engine is from a 2000 reg tdi escort estate.. all covered on the 1st page. danj8608 Posted November 18, 2013 Author Share Posted November 18, 2013 Not much to report.. not getting 18psi after doing the usual tuning but I do hold 12psi to the redline seems to be ok for a diesel. Gold wheel has now been swapped for a silver wheel and im running 215 45 tyres on rear, I have some skirts that need need fitting along with a mg splitter so ill have that done next week maybe.
