Plus, would this be faster to the 60 than a new golf 1.8 gti??? as this will be an argument settler with my neighbour, I recon my 2ltr powered escort will Pee all over him!!! Anyone that may have done a 2.0 change could have possibly done other mods i.e. cams etc. So to get a just out of the box figure for its 0-60 is going to be hard to search. Some say it isnt as quick as a 2.0 RS2k N7A which I think was 0-60 7.9 secs 0-62.5 8.1 secs. So could be looking at around 0-60 of around 8.4 secs.
