Centre console

I've got a finesse centre console to go in my gti will this be a straight swap?how easy is it and are there any tips to make it easier, i'm very wary of doing jobs involving plastic trim because its easy to snap a clip or something.

Easy swap matey remove the gaitors surrounds and buttons, then it's one screw in the back and then 4 10mm nuts holding it down you will need a ratchet, extension bar and a long 10mm socket to get to them! Then tip up from the back so it's over the bolts and slide it back then do the reverse for fitting easy 15 minute job

Thanks for the advice lads, bit worried about unclipping the plastic insert by the handbreak any tips for that.

 

Just read the how to guide jc dont know what i'm worried about should be done for fordfair.
