PeeWee
Most TV's in that price range are LED now.Not really understanding how you intend using built in surround on another tv tbh? Edited December 6, 2013 by PeeWee

stoo2000
LED Costs less to run. For £350 you can get a 32" Samsung LEDhttp://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue32f5500...view-hd/p433369 Or a 32" Panasonichttp://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-viera-t...view-hd/p424246 The nice thing about buying TVs from John Lewis is that they all come with a 5 year warranty. PeeWee
You haven't told us what connections your surround system uses though?
etrebus
You haven't told us what connections your surround system uses though?the speaker wires clip into the back of the tv, they are plain wires no connectors the system is dolby pro logic 5.1 ,maybe i would have to solder on some connectors to make it fit rca type sockets??? Brown
I personally think £350 is too expensive for just a 32" screen in the current market.. unless you're someone in to TV's (this doesn't seem to be the case) then you can get way more for your money Argos have this 42" LG on offer at the moment, £329 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9158922.htm
shawdreamer
for starters at £350 Id not look at a 42" as you'll be confined to the lower end of the market which is a crap shoot when it comes to qaulity. on the other hand 32" is a little undersized for your main tele imho however at the same time you'll be able to look at the higher end 32"'s with your price limit. If it was me though Id give a bit of consideration to a 37-40" as a good middle ground size wise. when my livingroom 42" LG went tits-up a couple of years back I was originally gonna simply direct replace it with a similar sized model but then I came across a 37" Toshiba Regza and was pretty impressed with its image qaulity and general build both of which shamed my previous much more expensive LG. I can also say with honesty that the loss of the additional 5" screen size has not in anyway reduced my viewing pleasure one bit and two years on my Regza is still going strong without showing any signs of failing. PeeWee
100% what Brown said.£350 will get you a very decent LED 42" tbf although as Shaw said 37" is a good compromise.I have a 37" and its size is just nice.
