stevemrst Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Higot a 1.8 105ps escort cab 1997 ...Car was running ruff so changed the iscv today for new one (what a b*stard of a job that was) anyway put it all back together reset the ecu etc now its reving to about 3000 revs and just holding there and a strong whiff of petrol ....Any ideas ??? It's gotta be air leak :"""( There's a figure 8 shaped rubber gasket in the manifold that might have pinged out. All that rubbish and all it was was a 3 quid paper gasket that is not on the throttle body from new ....
