I think, power has been lost a bit low down, but higher up the rev range, It feels ten times better as the filter is bigger, letting it get more air!I raced my mate who used to have an escort gti! Identical specs, apart from the air filters. He had a proper GTi K&N one, and we raced from the lights, he pulled away, but after 30/40 mph we caught and beat him.....
