Flat_Steve
...I´ll be taking delivery of ´em on 15th March and they´ll be on in time for Castle Coombe! http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/Images/Gallery_Images/b7.jpg If you want a set, Pumaspeed.co.uk sell them, brand new, for £600 a set (they´re normally £1200 from Ford Motorsport). They´re out of a Ford Racing Puma, by the way. I talked to Demon Tweeks about seat runners but they said that the puma seats are a quirky fitment and they don´t sell off-the-shelf runners for them. Only way to make them fit your car is to weld the runners from your old seats. For more information call Tony on 07967 489262.

jp
i have been wanting a pair for ages. no matter what anyone says they are definitley the best set of seats you can have in a ford. did you get them out of the advertisement in the back of the fast ford mag because ive seen themfor sale at that price? Flat_Steve
I saw them on RSOC, Tony´s been advertising one or two sets of these over the past last months. When I phoned him up he said that he´d had hundreds of enquiries about them and that he´d just ordered in another 25! And yeah I did see that guy who had obviously just got hold of a set and was trying to flog ´em for £200 more than Tony!
sortedford
I see youve decided the wise choice, as our conversation , u just need the the harnesses now Ian
Colin
What about buying a normal set of sparco´s in black and then having someone attach the ford logo on? Surely you could buy it from some where? Maybe even Ford themselves could supply you with one? Might save a bit of money, and you would also be able to buy specific runners for your car! Flat_Steve
I´m not sure a vanilla set of sparco´s/cobra´s would work out any cheaper - and of course they wouldn´t be trimmed in blue alcantara! For that you normally pay well over £500 - per seat, so they´re pretty good value for money really. Ian - yeah now that these are a certainty I´ve been thinking about what to do about harnesses. I use the car a lot every day for work so I´ve gotta be able to jump in and out of the car without taking half an hour buckling up! Having said that proper harnesses look the mutt´s nuts so I guess it´d be rude not to get a set... I´m also going to retrim the door card inlays, as in the above pic with alcantara. So I´m going to have to find a supplier and make sure the material colour matches. Might have a word with Cobra themselves to find out who is their supplier. Flat_Steve
I´ve been thinking about what to do with the rears, should I a). Get them retrimmed to match or should I b). Whip ´em out, and fit a full rollcage (like the one detailed on the main page of escortevolution)? Course if I have a rollcage that´ll give me something to tie the harnesses to, and I hardly ever have passengers anyway... Should cost about the same, about £500-ish each. I can´t afford to have both done, so what should I go for?
