Danderton
Can anyone help me? I didn´t get a user manual when i got my escort. So can anyone tell me how the hell the alarm works? It is a standard alarm, and when i turn the key right, to lock it the red light on the dash flashes. When i turn it left, and then right, the red light stays solid lit? Are these 2 different arming options or what???? Get your manuals out and let me know. Thanx boys, Dan

Cappy
Have any of you guys ever managed to hook up your Ford Deadlocks to the aftermarket alarm? Ian.. How do you plan to use your deadlocks without the locks? Amit
sortedford
The bloke set it up to put the dead locks on when it locks. Ian
Lee R
You can still use original Ford alarm/ deadlocks with an aftermarket alarm unless you have de-locked it. Lock car as usual, key left, key right, deadlocks on, then arm aftermarket alarm.
Cappy
I know you can.. but that is a pain in the arse.. I want to be able to arm/disarm the deadlocks with the alarm key fob. Amit
