Anyone had to remove or tamper with the pipework at all??

 

I have to disassemble some of the system to fit the manifold...... ;(

 

It seems the system was modified for later models, but Haynes manual only shows the earlier system. The pipework on mine runs a different route to that shown X(

 

If anyone's got any tips, I'd be grateful :cheers:

be careful when doing it mate, the gas in em really aint good for ya.

After listening to my Dad, we used 2 nuts to make a locknut and took the bolts out of the head!!! It slipped on very easily, didn't even need to reach for the KY!! :cheers: :D

 

It's fitted, I've just gotta put the rest of the bolts back in and tighten up the nuts.

 

Decat is looking mint too :D

 

couldnt have been a real rst then ralph lol

2.0L, pushing close to 200bhp, I reckon it'll give most slightly tuned RST's a run for their money. The situation I wrote in an earlier post was purely hypothetical :) :drunk:
