mousey
hi all im new. I drive a white 5dr mk5b in average condition. doing a bit of bodywork atm, debadging, smoothing etc. And I was wondering before I attempt this part tomorrow. You know those strips that go along the doors, are they riveted on, or just stuck on. If I remove them is it just a case of getting the sticky stuff off or will it be a bodyfiller job? Thanks in advance
basskiddanny
Just stuck, but if you remove them they just make your car look like a lower spec model lol. Colour code.
mousey
Yeah before I bought this one I was looking at a 1.3 azura, that didnt have them. IMO though I like the look of it all being smoother without them. Thanks for the help though

Craig855S
either remove em,or remove em and replace em with coded mk6 strips!! i think coded strips look great, especially when combined with GTi skirts
