lee grout
I like the look of that, really good to see more progress. The thing with the etch primer is it prevents rusting which normal primer doesnt fully achieve. As the vents were firbeglass.....no need
minirotty
Cheers bud. Few more things done today, I have removed my dummy engine now as no need for it to be in there any more. As today Sam mocked up a new engine mount bracket for me, ignore the old rubber mount pictured as that's mock up as well, I have a vibratech one to press into that casting. Also only tacked together as Sam will be tig welding it. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/aaf04f78.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/2abae3ec.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/173f66a7.jpg Ready to be Tig'd. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/39972a47.jpg Also as Simon pointed out, I haven't a drain pipe from my roof vent, I knew this lol Here's what me and Sam came up with on the laithe whilst messing about macking a dump valve bumg also for a mate scooby. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/27fe825a.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/eae9b14b.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/2a6c94f3.jpg More soon. minirotty
Been around my friend Tims house this evening and with his skills and tools managed to get the calliper brackets started, passengerside done, will pop back on Thursday to complete drivers side. Need to get some cap heads also, 65mm overall length x 10mm x 1.5 pitch, if any one knows where lol Pics... http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/7eb18d2c.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/f9b62ee5.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/ee9fd1f4.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/f8400b5b.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/fbc89772.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/fc232aa4.jpg You can see the pen lines on the alloy, that's what I am going to get machined off, make them look better. I was up unit yesterday and tried this guage pod, I don't like it and due to having Race Tech 2 dahs the only guage I am running is Wide Band Lambda etc so no need for three, I am going to put it in my van instead lol http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/3f30018b.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/5a6cd813.jpg http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i359/LuciferTWO666/50d3cb23.jpg
