Danzetec
Well its been a fair time since I've done a SUYM so here it is at present I've changed from rs2000 and got my cyclone skirts on, I had to remove the door bumps and smooth the lower swage line The front bumper will be getting some fresh paint soon but I may swap the lamps for blanks Also got to space the rear wheels out a shite load lol http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02930.jpg mykez bought my old bonnet and now I'm thinking of having a plain bonnet with just a subtle bad-boy as before, but I was thinking that it looks quite nice in black (actually aubergine atm!) what do people think of praps satin black? http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02931.jpg Fitted the intercooler up in the the front bumper, decided to keep it black - little more low-key. I will get some pics of what I'm working on at the business end of things tomorrow Got black projectors as well now - much nicer with the green than the chrome ones imo http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02933.jpg The alloys I want to refurb in anthercite(sp) and the brakes will be going too as I have something a bit bigger http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/300mmbrakes.jpg Edited March 19, 2011 by Danzetec

Danzetec
Looks nice, liking the the look from the front alot, wheels will look good in anthracite against the green and black bonnet , have you thought about smoothing the line out on the wheels??Cheers Mark, its not something I want to do on the alloys, was a choice of plain 5-spokes or these when I bought them and I prefer the detail on the spokes tbh Like that alot What size are your current brakes? They look good behind the wheelsThe current brakes are 300mm st170 / mk3 mondeo brakes but are soon going as I have these 325mm AP racing 4-pots http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02954.jpg looks great matey! any under bonnet pics?Cheers mate, not much going on under the bonnet atm but heres what will be going there Nearly new 2 litre silver-top zetec engine - the exhaust manifold nuts are still copper-coated! Black rocker cover fitted, with focus rs exhaust manifold and turbo. Not going for masses of power but this should hopefully give me a nicely balanced setuphttp://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02955.jpg Using a 1.5mm decompression plate and a steel multi-layer gasket each side, got a new water pump and escort oil pump to fit, new cambelt and tensioner, got to make an oil feed t-piecehttp://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02956.jpg Black piper vernier pulleys, sorting oil return to sump and some ARP con-rod boltshttp://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/Danzetec/DSC02957.jpg Also got a Miltek down-pipe, forge actuator and dump valve, intercooler plumbing kit and will be using a K&N panel filter I reckon.Had some real bargains so I'm comfortably still under £1000 for the setup so far, just leaves a load of plumbing and probably a megasquirt ECU to sort.... RyanML
sweet! what rocker cover gasket do you need to fit a blacktop rockercover to a silvertop?
Danzetec
Use the black-top gasket, you need to trim down the end of the cover to fit the plastic cambelt cover tho

MarkyMark
Wheels will still look good and once the engine goes in it should be a pretty special car when do you plan on getting the engine in and fired up??
