Having a few electrical glitches atm (which isn't really my thing) to fix but I'm going to australia for december so its just been tucked away in the garage at home until the new year. I've got a few jobs to sort out before then and I should be free to properly get it sorted. liking the bonnet dan, did you modify that yourself? if so any chance you can do mine lol Yeah I did the bonnet myself, I wouldn't want to do any more complete bonnets atm but can sell you pre-cut steel light-brows so you could get a local bodyshop to weld and smooth in? PM me if interested Cheers Fekyo, I always thought a more subtle badboy suits the escort shape far better and could even pass for being original if you didn't know your cars very well I've got a couple of little bits to sort now but I think the new look has come together a treat and will hopefully get some hi-res photos soon. Danzetec Posted May 10, 2010 Author Share Posted May 10, 2010 Got a bit of an update but without any pics I'm afraid! The car came out of storage the other week and is back in my way again now! So I've decided to get it sorted in a final push to get it done. After many issues wiring up the megasquirt, we decided to go back to basics and see if we could start the engine on standard inlet and ECU..... and it started and ran first try!! So with the issue definitely with the megasquirt/ loom I have passed the problem on to my mechanic friend who is much better at electrics than myself- so hopefully that will be the wiring good as done Also the top half of the inlet is due back from powder-coaters this week, so I'm quite looking forward to that Leaves me with a number of bits to get finished, so I think I need to break them down in to achievable tasks- I will keep you posted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
