MarkyMark
Nice mod Aaron, just hope you sanded the bumper down properly first or it will lift. As for the numberplate, standard ones look fine fitted directly onto the smoothed bumper, the mod still stands out
Rennie
smoothing is looking good mate, i was going to do the same but the issue with the number plate changed my mind, so the simple reason i didnt just want to stick the numberplate anywhere. Great work mate, keep with it.

dansGTI
You have a great base there, nice bodywork and for the future, you could pop a RST engine in there quite easily. All i'll say is PLEASE dont ruin it with p*ss poor mods. Keep it clean, and simple. If you have to wait to do a certain mod, then wait! Ive done this to my GTi back when i owned it 5 years ago, and i look at pictures of it and cringe!! Example back in 2003............... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/gti2DSCI0002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/gti4DSCI0004.jpg Look what mess i made of the interior!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/gti3DSCI0003.jpg If it were me - GTI kit all round, STANDARD lights all round (maybe smoked headlights) then a set of Diamond cut RS7's, lowered nicely, 6x4 oval exhaust. Hate the front bumper idea with a passion Edited September 29, 2008 by dansGTI

massivewangers
I personally don't really see the point of going to all the trouble of smoothing the bumper then sticking the plate back on, covering everything you've just done. It just reminds me of a few Novas I saw where they flushed the tailgate then stuck the plate back on there, what's the point I reckon relocate it!
