Escort_Kid
Update - Colour coded: Right well fitted a few of the bits ive been collecting and gave the car a quick jetwash as it was filthy, its starting to come on well now The mirrors turned out to be abit of a pain as the ones I bought the manual adjuster was broke so I had to swop the adjusters over from my old mirrors. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/08112008436.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/08112008437.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/08112008433.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/08112008434.jpg Next up is get my skirts painted when they turn up and get my smoothed gti bumper painted and fitted Also hopefully lowering will happen this month with any luck! 1 question aswell do you think I should do my smoothed bootstrip gloss black or colour coded? Matt86
Colour coded I think, car is looking smooth and all one colour apart from the bootstrip atm and it really stands out- if it was black it would still stand out.

Escort_Kid
UPDATE - Back on the road!! Well a couple of weeks ago I ended up having a spin and the car came off fairly bad. But at last after quite abit of work and £58 out of my pocket, luckily not bodywork, its back on the road! Quite proud of myself as ive done everything myself, ive changed: Subframe,Lower arms,O/S/F Driveshaft,Wheels,N/S/R stub axle,N/S/R brake cylinder,N/S/R drum,N/S/R bearing. The alloys have now sadly gone as they were mullered and she's back on steel wheels but these will change eventually. There's a couple little bits ive been collecting though, ive changed the side repeaters to clear ones and ive got a laguna sunglasses holder still to fit, rear wiper delay relay still to fit and a smoothed rear boot lock strip to fit. Some pictures of how she looks now: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC00767.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC00765.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC00766.jpg
