I heard about this site on FEOA.net and thought to check it out. I am currently in my fourth and fifthe Escorts. I started out with and American Spec 89 GT,which is gone now, then another American Spec 93 GT and now own in addition to the 93, a 91 5-door. I am however familiar with the Euro Spec Escorts as while in Germany for the Army I owned an 88 XR3i hatch and XR3i Cabrio. I truly miss my Cagrio...loads of fun that one. 93EGTinLR Posted May 17, 2003 Author Share Posted May 17, 2003 glad to be here and thanks...as I amy have mentioned before I am looking into the possibility of importing either an MK 4 or 5 Cabrio tot he states here via Canada....I hope I can do it...I miss my baby...and the really sad thing is that about a month after I sold it, the guy broke down and leftt he car...when he came back the next day the wheels, the Recaros and the stereo had been stolen...that hurt just to hear about it... but on to better things...I will def be around...I also plan to do some shopping from auto shops over there....I have crazy ideas for my 93....if all goes well it will def be like no other on the planet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

93EGTinLR Posted May 17, 2003 Author Share Posted May 17, 2003 the funny thing about the Cossie's and here in the states is that there was a company here when the cossies first hit that imposrted some...but they were going for about 50 grand USD....kinda out of my budget...it would be interesting to own a Cossie, but I'd def rather the Cabrio...I can always add power to the Cabrio, but it's not so easy to make a Cabrio out of a Cossie...lol...plus I wouldn't want to chop up one of those....if I had that idea I would hope someone would drag me out in the street and shoot me...lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
