hicksy
Mum wanted something a bit different to her V40 for the summer, so the volvo is going to be sat up and this is gonning to be her summer car. Then i might acquire it afterwards Anyways here it is, its a 1996 N reg 1.8 ghia with 54000 miles on the clock. Anyways as i said its her car and not mine (yet) so a few of the choices are hers and i cant do anything about them (lexus lights) Here are a few pics of it as she got it (yesterday) Its pretty dirty and has horid 14inch wheelshttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00933.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00937.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00938.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00934.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00939.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00930.jpg Then i put the lexus lights on(again there not my choice but i think they look ok on the cab)http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00940.jpg Then my choice my old GTI 15'shttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00944.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00945.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00946.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00947.jpghttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/DSC00948.jpg First plans for it are, get rid of the stupid wood trim and colour code it, fit a spoiler to it, and fit a 16v badge where its been peeled off, white dials and make the indicators flash when its deadlocked. Then possibly some skirts and who knows lol

Craig855S
The lights are probably helped by the numberplate surround and the badges...but they aint the best..would she not consider the smoked ones? or half tints?

hicksy
I thought id dig this old topic back up after acquiring the car about a month ago My parents split up and mum took the Escort with her. I hadn't seen it since the middle of 2010, but i got a phone call from my little brother saying that my mum wasnt using the car and the MOT was due to run out soon. It was a bit of a result because my brother told me that my mum didnt want any money for it as long as i collected it that week So here it is, its only on 59000 miles now too which is a result My plans so far are to get rid of the horrid 14's, probably loose rear lights and put some standard front lights back in, oh and put a different exhaust on too http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/IMG_1282_zps74b3e5cf.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/IMG_1281_zps527b2921.jpg I had the spare wheels off my ST170, so i thought it would be rude not to try them http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/IMG_1404_zpsf1223f91.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/cabby/IMG_1406_zpsa89dcaf1.jpg Ive also bought an RS accessory grill for it too I think im going to get it MOT'd for the summer and enjoy it
