tezmanian devil Posted October 16, 2009 Author Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) cheers bod, gearbox is a rs2k mtx75 jobby, but it's abit special, it's been geared up to see 180mph, and has a ford torsion diff (less aggressive than the quafe, apparently?), last owner had it built to run on he's 350bhp rs turbo... will that not kill acceleration, cos im sure that guy was only after top speed? yeh it was mainly geared for top speed, but the acceleration wasn't sacrificed too much... tezmanian devil Posted October 19, 2009 Author Share Posted October 19, 2009 i think it's going to be done alot sooner than first thought tbh, which imo is proberly a bad thing as i wanted it as a good wether car, but if i finish it while we'r still in winter, im worried i wont be able to resist and i'll take it out and get it all coverd in crud it's quite annoying as i want it done, but dont at the same time if that make's sense? we'll have to give them both a blast round a track when there both done anyway, reckon you'l have your's done by ford fair? How did you get on fitting the RS500 splitter? havn't got anywhere with the 500 splitter yet unfortunetly mate, want to chop out the middle like i did on my last one first, but then i dont want to do that until i fit the intercooler as i have a feeling i'll be needing to chop out abit to suit that aswel... once i've got the engine fitted i'll no where the intercooler's gota go, so until then im reluctant to touch the bumper i'll get there soon though hopfully Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
