16V_Silver
I had some rust on my wheel arches, so I sanded all the rust down with sand paper and then sprayed over using a can of spray paint to match my car colour.. Rust gone!

mykez69
there is no point doing it any other way other than cutting it out, i sanded and grinded rusty arches on my mk4, fibreglassed them up, filled, painted, looked awesome. 3 months later poo brown colour starting to show though the paint lol

madxrcabby
treat with krust, wire brush the remaining, fill/rebuild with fibreglass, filler, sand and spray still comes back like a year later though with the time and effort and money thats put into doing it over and over again its cheaper to just replace the panels
M44K TS
+1 Only way to get rid of rust if to cut it out, even kurust and rust convertor jelly stuff doesn't do the job 100% It still comes back.
