LiamGTR
Started a new job and want to keep track of my hours and what I should be getting paid. I think a spreadsheet would be the easiest to use? But no idea where to start. Any help? Thanks.
geordie_aaron
column A= normal rate /Column B =overtime rate a1 + b1 +c1 + d1 = £weekly pay that kind of formula? Since i've not used Excel for 9 years - i've forgotten EXACTLY how so googled. http://www.baycongroup.com/excel2003/excel03.htm
LiamGTR
Does anyone know how to refer all sums back to B1? When I drag the box down to carry on the sums, it goes into B2 then B3 B4. B1 is my salary so I obviously need all my hours * B1?
geordie_aaron
eh?all your A column should be just titles (days of the week)B should be hours worked at normal rateC hours worked at O/T rate D = total that day (before tax) and D8 should be total for that week (well that's how i'd do it) Edited June 17, 2010 by geordie_aaron
Stu
You use dollar signs to lock a cell, so if you want to always reference B1 when you fill a formula down you use $B$1..

PeeWee
Liam, I have a monthly timesheet knocked up for you. It doesnt have your wages on it just hours but most of the works all done & just needs a little input by you to add a wages column. This one has week commencing, week total and monthly total hours.I can email it to you if you give me your address. Edit: sent it to your live account. Edit again: I added the wage column in for you so works fully for you now. All you need to do is enter your hourely rate & it will calculate weekly & monthly. PeeWee
Yep! You put your daily hours in not the times lol. i.e. 6.00 hrs and so on, you will get weekly hours & payment owed weekly & monthly. Glad to help.
