Craig855S
Looks great (dare i say it better than a lot of mk5-mk6s out there) and Im sure it drives better than pretty much all of them. Only the pedal positions let these down in my eyes
danposs86
Thanks for all the comments. Was out looking for a job today, found myself on a builders merchants that had a weighbridge. Well, it would have been rude not to find out. The GiT-6 came in at 1118kg with a full tank. Not quite sure how as Parkers says it is meant to come in at 1215 kg standard. It wasn't a digital weighbridge so might have to get a second opinion. Saying that, if its correct that is 155bhp per ton. Using Parkers weight, its 143 bhp per ton. Only the pedal positions let these down in my eyes I've been driving it around wearing size 10 DC trainers and it hasnt actually been as bad as I was expecting. HIGHTOWER
100kg lighter than it should be.... How much lighter than standard are the wheels and wilwoods? Not 100kg, but I bet it's a chunky saving...

To be honest I wouldnt be surprised if the wheels and brakes are heavier than standard, due to how much bigger they are
danposs86
Yeah standard wheels are 15s, the Comps are 16s, also 4 pistons instead of 2. Also with an upper and lower strut brace the weight should be more than standard. Also Comps aren't a light wheel. Strong, but not light.
Simonez
Looks good mate drove one a while ago and was very impressed, and that was standard,
danposs86
Cheers mate. Never tried a standard one. But to have more power than standard after 12 years is always a bonus. Plus only the basic engine mods.

andaba
Yeah I think so. Although I thought they were 16"s, as a friend had some on his 106 and they looked huge! Look nice in black IMO.
