danposs86
Back in the UK and found myself carless, looked on eBay, autotrader and pistonheads then found this on an owner club and loved the look of it. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9227.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9236.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9241.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9258.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9260.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9263.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9266.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9243-1.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9246-1.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9250-1.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9251.jpg Bit of a spec for you, I havent done anything to it yet, so this is all done by the previous owner. 16inch Compomotive MO1672 with Yokohama S.drive tyresAvo coiloversUpper OMP strut braceLower custom strut braceLightened flywheel and full pully kitRoller bearing wishbone bushCustom droplinksHybrid rear ARBSolid rear beam mountsGoodridge rear braided linesWillwood 4 pots with modified rallydesign brackets to accept standard discs with dDS2500 and exact braided linesPiper X Viper filterSports cat, Power Flow middle section, Scorpion back boxPowerflex lower mountHome made catch tank Previous owner had it rolling roaded about a month ago and it made 171bhp, so just up from when new. caled
Nice, I've always fancied one of these. How much it set you back?
massivewangers
My friend used to have one of these. Can't say I really understood the hype, as it didn't do much for me. That said however, yours is a nice colour, and has a few nice tweaks, so fair play!
danposs86
Always remember wanting a 306 as my first car since the age of 14/15 (back when it was acceptable to love reading Max Power and Fast Car)
TC-DNB
I quite like these, and that top picture is the nuts. What camera you using? How's it go? Ive heard they pull well. We had a black one come in at our yard and it sounded lovely.
danposs86
A mate took the photos, some Nikon I think. Love the photos It sounds awesome, with the induction kit, sports cat and the rest of the exhaust system it really howls. Will get a video sometime, just need to fit a new clutch cable first. Also its really quite quick, because of the ratios, changing up from 3rd to 4th is great as you stay in the power range. Also it cost enough
HIGHTOWER
Those photo's are awesome, especially this one: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/306gti6/DSC_9243-1.jpg I assumed you'd gone living in Oz? You back for good or just visiting? Edit: Probably a silly question since you've just bought a car, but then again you did buy a car over there! lol Edited June 29, 2011 by HIGHTOWER

sidrick
Glad you're back, the site has been very quiet of late. Not glad you've got a Frenchie, although I bet it's a nippy drive!
Matt86
Always remember wanting a 306 as my first car since the age of 14/15 Ditto, only ended up with an Escort by accident! This one looks great, wheels suit it. Bet it goes well as well compared to Escort and giant Holden. Mate just did a road trip to Ayers Rock etc in an almost identical Holden

escortjas
Great cars, and that one looks fantastic. I seem to remember an advert about this car, it said it was the slowest in its class, but it was up against Ferrari's etc... as they were boasting about the 6speed box. lol
