tezmanian devil
thought it was about time updated this thread, still havnt been able to get much done on the car as yet because iv been building my temporary garage i managed to build it quite cheap by using all reclaimed wood and getting bits and peices that have been removed on other jobs, and we've built it in a prefab kinda style so i can hopefully sell it on once iv finished with it, but its been built to serve a purpose and not to look pretty so il proberly end up having a nice big bonfire come the end of it lolanyway, heres some pictures of my garage build first up, move the car out the way... while i was sanding back the a post i came across abit of sheet metal just tacked over what should be the sill so i followed it right back to find it had had new sills at some point but rather than chopping them in properly they just chucked it straight on top of what was there and bunged loads of filler over top of it:(http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m106/tezmanian_devil/mk2%20escort%20estate/99704940-BC7C-43B9-B92B-CAD2CE15E9FF-20879-0000342F211ACD36.jpghttp://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m106/tezmanian_devil/mk2%20escort%20estate/D3893752-FA28-436B-AB91-363269F63118-20879-0000342F299D0013.jpg il get back to the sills at a later date and replace them properly.so back to the strip down...rear axle assembly offhttp://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m106/tezmanian_devil/mk2%20escort%20estate/9B335807-B4F9-4DC8-8AF6-4EB2EC6756DA-20879-0000342DF5A2E2D3.jpg i did also remove all the fuel tank and boot lid aswel but forgot to take pics. so with the strip down now complete i started chipping all the sound deadening off ready to replace the floor panshttp://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m106/tezmanian_devil/mk2%20escort%20estate/FC915046-41C7-4A1A-B317-3FB28520D765-20879-0000342F46692FE2.jpg
 More sharing Saw this garage pop up in what seemed overnight. Keep them coming. lol, yeh did go up pretty quick, was lucky really, weather was spot on and we wer pretty quiet at work that week

bronze4door
i think you will need to put a bigger tunnel in it as the cossy box is much bigger the standard escort box unless your car was an auto at some point in its life with the bigger tunnel already fitted, one of the escort specialist is probably best to talk to and aftermarket tunnels are readily available to purchase
tezmanian devil
Yeh I had a chat with someone last night about it and they said I would need to get a bigger tunnel so iv just bought one and hopfully with any luck il have it tomorrow
