Ahmotorsport Posted May 11, 2012 Share Posted May 11, 2012 It looks like you're holding the welder too far away and the power isn't high enough, if you can up the power and do, move it along a bit quicker or you'll blow holes in it. I've got a mini mig that I use at home, but those disposable gas bottles don't last very long, what I've done with mine is bought a bottle of c02 to run mine on, works just the same. Or if your friendly with a pub landlord ask him if his can have a bottle of c02 all you'll have to buy is some gauges. That will last a lot longer than those little bottles.With Mig welding it's key tht the metal is clean and is baremetal, the will make it easier to weld and be a lot cleaner welds.
