Getting that BLU HID Look

I had crystal outers on the morettes on my mk1 and the light was scattering absolutely everywhere with just standard h4 bulbs. with HIDs in, I had to drive at night with just the front fogs on as I was literally blinding everyone. As soon as i could i took crystals off and put standards back on. I'm now going to modify the crystals to incorporate projectors :)

I fitted a set of HIDs to my BMW a few years back (kit £100 off ebay)...

Very impressed with the colour (beleive it was 5k), and the difference it made lighting up the road....

They were first fitted into the standard headlights, which offered no beam cutoff/control and was affecting alot of oncoming traffic, needless to say I was getting flashed quite alot....

Knowing I was affecting other drivers, I bought a set of projector headlights which controlled the beam alot better and I fitted the HIDs to these, I was not getting flashed by oncoming traffic...

My car passed the MOT with these in. It was a few years ago mind and I know there is now more focus on these..
