Sold the ST to raise some funds for a house deposit so needed a cheaper car. Just bought a Cooper S, not everyones cup of tea I'd expect but I think its great and has quite a bit of spec! :D

I like Mini's, and that colour appeals to me. It's just a shame practically every single one I see is being driven poorly, either up your arse thinking they're royalty, or flying around urban areas like they're on a rally course (e.g. the car's handling flatters even the waggiest wag).

Cheers for the comments :)

LOL @ Juicy! Its not too bad on fuel, but I'm used to the ST which was dreadful.

Cost me just over £4.5k. For the spec and condition of the car I think it was a great price :D

Few things to do on it in future like wheel refurb (maybe anthracite), painted brakes, LEDs etc.

OK, now for real - what's wrong with it ?

We just had £5.5k in part ex for higher spec, but not as minty looking (from small pics). What reg is it ?

I guess they're just not selling very well privately these days... At least the ones around me never seam to reach reserve on ebay...

Nothing wrong with it :) How do you know yours was higher spec? This has quite a lot of options.

Its a 2003. What is selling well these days, its a buyers market.

Because ours had only one option missing - white wheels. And that's only because that dealer didn't offer it.

And I can see that you don't have Sat Nav. Or stripes. Or double sunroof. :innocent:

Edit: Or front mudflaps.
