Mike C
I've just removed the original mk5b bump strips with the silver piping on them as I've always hated them, but i'm still undecided whether to get the much better loking mk6 bump strips and colour code them, or to leave it without any strips on @ all. So, i just wondered what everyone elses opinion was. Cheers,

gecko
I want to colour code mine, missus dead against it as per usual, but she does have a valid argument, that the paint will get removed by peeps hitting strips with there car doors. Has anyone actually painted these in situ?

Phill
I think if I took mine off I'd want the two lines behind them smoothed. But as mine is used everyday and parked all over the place, I'm going to keep them.
Mike C
I was unsure whether they should go 'cos I didn't want to make it look like a base model, but thought it'd probably look better without once the side skirts, custom bumpers, rims etc are all in place.
