instead of just closing it, why not give people a chance to correct the error, or at least edit it to correct it? bit harsh! but here it is done properly as requested!

You will be better off spending your money on getting bigger brakes, you could use the 260mm set up from an RS2000, the 278mm from a mondeo, or the 300mm set up using st170 discs and mondeo mk3 calipers :)

You will get better brakes doing that than spending money getting fancy 239mm discs :)

Those first discs you linked to, I would suggest would be prone to cracking.

Don't forget the 300mm conversion needs 16" wheels,

I would consider how much your budget is and think about a brake fluid change, braided hoses, caliper refurb, ds2500 pads, black diamond combie discs etc

hes got the st24 turbines from sleeman so the 300s would fit nicely with a space, slee checked for him before posting

Gonna just paint them and slap em on when I get them, as is. come the new year I'm going for blackdiamond combi discs, Black diamond Predetor pads and some braided hoses with a fluid change when I'm doing the hoses.

tbh I was just looking for the cheapest upgrade poss as current braking is a lttle shite, until I could have afforded a decent large disc conv. thats why I was looking at these frisbees, but your prob right in that they'd prob crack as soon as I touch them.

Found a set of RS2k callpiers and discs on Fleabay for £22, can't argue with that! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390513538864?ssP...984.m1439.l2649 don't worry, sorted out courier myself and paid less than half the price on the postage.

gonna clean them up and give then a paint, get them on and take it from there really.

Question

As these are mk5 rs2k callipers will my standard mk6 hoses fit them? or will I have to get a set of mk5 hoses?

You can get some 15's on Mondy calipers with 300mm ST discs - just have to shave a little of the caliper. Don't forget you need the carriers too.

I had to buy a spacer kit when I installed mine on my MK4. Some people just said to use washers to add a bit of gap but if its worth doing, its worth doing properly.

You think I have the time to contact members with every "Mistake" then keep checking to see if they all correct it?

Much easier if people follow the simple instructions at the top of the page.

Also in future feel free to PM me instead of having a mini moan in a thread, you will find I am always happy to reply and explain to those polite enough to take the time.

Hey! you could even of contacted me and had it re opened so you could put the pic in. :thumb:
