People who know me in the real world will know my famous phase: "I'll NEVER own a Vauxhall!" - Fecked that up Pocket is £370 lighter but for that I get:MOT until December 13TAX until April 13... That's about it! Requires:* Clutch bearing (£10-15 plus a lot of swearing)* CV joints (£8 a side plus some more swearing)* Front tyres (£20 a side for ditch finders)* Scrapping. Reason for the change: MPG + Gaining some NCB (Can't earn NCB on a classic car policy)It's a 3 pot 1.0L, so I should be able to squeeze 50mpg+ in-between thrashing it to get any power from the peanut of an engine.Plans:* Run it until it either dies or the MOT expires and probably have to pay a scrap man to take it! On the upside, it handles like shiite!

smithyandco
Other way around for me! This and 1.0 VW Lupo/Seat Arosa were the cheapest. £560 a year insurance with 0 NCB (any other car was £700+). Bought 10 month insurance (Diamond give full 1 year NCB certificate after the end of the 10 months) as it worked out the same cost and meant I'll have some NCB before this car sails the scrap yard. its wheels its good enough for the money you cant grumble parts are plentyful and cheap I guess so! http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NG0I9adwVZU/TReYkP2iArI/AAAAAAAAAJA/uZjQoetku_s/s1600/baby-crying%5B1%5D.jpg

Some 1.0 and even 0.8l cars came out at over £1,000!Yet a 1.4 Skoda Fabia came out at £680! Sure they factor in repair costs, steal-ability and the amount of claims they've had for that model car... but it's still random as Fcuk!
