cossie calipers

picked up some cossie 4 pot brake calipers

 

big smiles

 

they need a bit of a refurb and a seal kit but otherwise in good nick

 

can they be fitted to a mk6 escort? and what disc size would they use as standard?

not too sure on fitting the calipers but you might struggle to find wheels to go over them if you did fit them

 

a mate put a set on an xr4x4 and he had to buy cossie latice wheels as he tried various for 15 inch wheels and nothing would fit

I looked at fiting these a.while.back they needed alot of spacing also the calipers are not threaded so you need a nut and bolt to hold the caliper to the.hub,im sure i got a guide saved somewhere for fitting to a escort, google it scott you should find it.

ill have a look when i get home, ive got some spare hubs in the garage so i will just experiment and have a go on the bench

No point running 2wd Cossie front calipers for all the hassle 283mm

Might as well run focus st170 discs with mk3 mondeo calipers 300mm

Less hassle and probably cheaper

 

i already have 300mm atm. biut figured 4 piston callipers would be better
